2026 SUMMER NORDIC SKI CAMP

July 12-15, 2025, Cable, WI

Make plans to join us for a camp at Mt. Telemark, home of the Birkie Trail, with World Cup skier and clinician

Alayna Sonnesyn

A member of Team Birkie, Alayna brings endless energy, grit, and an ambitious spirit to her international ski racing. A midwest native, Alayna grew up in Plymouth, MN where she ran and skied with her high school team. In 2014, she decided move across the country to attend the University of Vermont and competed in the NCAA Championships all four years and finished runner-up in 2017. She also made multiple teams for Team USA to World Juniors/U23 Championships. Outside of skiing, Alayna raced cross country and track and field at UVM for three seasons. In 2018, Alayna graduated from UVM and continued skiing with the SMS T2 Elite Ski Team in Stratton, VT. She’s a five-time American Birkebeiner Champion (most recently in 2026), member of the US World Cup team, and has been a member of Team Birkie.

This amazing opportunity is designed for middle and high school skiers who have at least one year of roller skiing experience and are wanting to improve their classic and skate technique, develop and set goals, and incorporate Nordic training techniques as multi-sport athletes.
