The Runestone Ramble

is one of the first trail runs of the season in Minnesota, and one of the only trail runs in the Central Minnesota Lakes Area. This family oriented run will be held on Saturday, June 27 at Kensington Runestone Park, located 15 miles west of Alexandria, Minnesota, in Douglas County. The course navigates the beautiful, but challenging terrain of the 304 acre wooded and gently rolling county park. Kensington Runestone Park is filled with trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking, along with a playground area and beautiful visitors center that tells the legendary story of the Kensington Runestone. You have two trail run options: the 7K Trail Run and the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run. The 7K course traverses the expanse of the park and includes a number of rigorous climbs. The 1 Kids Fun Run is a family friendly out and back course.
